These terms govern use of the LASW website. A signed proposal, service agreement, registration checkout, or program-specific waiver may contain additional terms for a particular activity.
Website purpose
This website provides general information about LASW and allows adults to inquire about services or access third-party registration. Website content is not a binding offer, guarantee, professional medical advice, or substitute for the final scope and terms of a confirmed service.
Adults and authorized contacts
Inquiry forms are intended for adults, including parents, guardians, event organizers, and authorized representatives of schools, businesses, and organizations. By submitting a request, you represent that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it.
Inquiries are not bookings
Submitting a form, receiving an automated confirmation, or discussing availability does not reserve a date or create a service agreement. A service is confirmed only after LASW and the responsible customer or organization agree to the applicable proposal or contract, required payment or deposit is received, and LASW confirms the booking.
Scope, pricing, and changes
Services, staffing, equipment, timing, locations, and pricing depend on the agreed scope. Website examples are illustrative and may not be available for every age, venue, date, or program. The final proposal or contract controls if it differs from the website.
Registration providers
Classes, camps, and other scheduled programs may be offered through Sawyer or another registration provider. Its checkout terms, payment terms, privacy practices, cancellation rules, and program-specific forms may also apply.
Safety and participation
Sports and physical activities involve inherent risks. Participants and responsible adults must follow activity instructions, disclose relevant information through the appropriate registration or organizer channel, use equipment as directed, and avoid participation when a condition makes it unsafe. Program-specific waivers, acknowledgments, or organizer agreements may be required before participation.
Host-managed events
For events or programs managed by a client or host, responsibilities concerning the venue, permits, participant communication, supervision outside LASW’s confirmed activity scope, and other logistics are determined in the applicable proposal or contract.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation, rescheduling, weather, deposit, and refund terms vary by service and are stated in the applicable proposal, contract, or registration checkout. The website does not create a separate cancellation or refund right.
Intellectual property
The LASW name, logos, website design, text, and media are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. They may not be copied, republished, or used commercially without permission, except for ordinary personal use of the website.
Third-party services and links
The website may link to or display content from Google, Sawyer, and other third parties. LASW does not control every third-party service and is not responsible for its availability, content, or independent practices.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, submit false or unlawful material, impersonate another person, or use automated methods to overwhelm forms or systems.
Disclaimers and limitation
The website is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, LASW disclaims implied warranties concerning the website and is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by use of, or inability to use, the website. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These website terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Service contracts may contain additional dispute terms that control the contracted service.
