General
What ages do you work with?
LA Sports World serves children from 6 months through 17 years old. The right program depends on age, interests, and the kind of support you need.
What areas do you serve?
LA Sports World serves communities across Los Angeles. Availability depends on the activity, date, location, travel, and confirmed setup, so share the location you have in mind and we'll let you know what is possible.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the service, group size, schedule, and location. Share what you're planning and we'll provide a clear quote for that setup.
How does customization work?
LASW starts with proven activity formats and adjusts them around the child, group, goals, schedule, location, available space, and client requests. We can make larger changes when the confirmed setup calls for them.
Coaching
What are Pods & Groups?
Pods & Groups are flexible small-group activities for friends, teammates, classmates, or a group we help you form. Private one-on-one coaching is also available.
What sports do you coach?
Basketball, flag football, soccer, baseball, volleyball, surfing, street hockey, and personal fitness, among others. Ask us about anything not listed and we'll confirm what is possible.
How do I get started?
Start with Plan an Activity. Choose Pods & Groups, share the basics, and we'll follow up to understand your goals before recommending a setup.
Parties
What's included in a party?
The confirmed LASW scope can include activity planning, staff, equipment, setup, coach-led sports or play, and breakdown. We choose the mix together based on ages, guest count, location, and the kind of celebration you want. LASW manages its activity deliverables, not the entire party.
Do you handle permits?
Some park locations require a permit for group activities. We'll confirm responsibility during planning. Permits, food, decor, and rentals are included only when listed in your quote.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier the better, especially for weekend dates. Reach out as soon as you have a date in mind.
Classes & Camps
How do I register?
Browse everything currently open on our Register page and sign up directly.
What if nothing is currently open?
Join the interest list for the program you're waiting on and we'll reach out as soon as something opens.
Are classes pop-up or recurring?
Both. Some classes start as limited-run pop-ups and become regular offerings when there is continued interest.
Schools & Businesses
Do you work with schools?
Yes. We offer PE curriculum, after-school activities, program support, and events for schools, businesses, synagogues, nonprofits, and community organizations. See our Schools & Businesses page for details.
Can you supplement an existing camp instead of running the whole thing?
Yes. We can cover the sports and activity portion of a camp or program you are already running.
How do we start a conversation?
Fill out our organization inquiry form and we'll follow up with options that fit.
Safety & Logistics
Are coaches background checked?
LASW team members begin as Coaches in Training and may participate only under direct supervision. They complete company training and California Live Scan screening before serving independently as coaches.
Are LASW staff CPR and First Aid certified?
Emergency planning and staffing vary with the activity, participant ages, venue, and confirmed scope. LASW is formalizing additional CPR, AED, First Aid, and emergency-response standards and does not represent that a certified staff member is present at every event unless that is part of the confirmed plan.
How is staffing determined?
Staffing is planned around participant ages, group size, activity type, venue, and the support available from parents or the host organization. LASW does not advertise one fixed ratio for every service.
What happens if weather affects an outdoor session?
We'll reach out to registered families as early as possible with next steps.
