We collect information that adults provide when they contact us, plan an activity, join an interest list, apply for work, register for a program, or otherwise communicate with us. This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, organization names, locations, requested dates, age or grade ranges, participant counts, activity preferences, work experience, availability, qualifications, and notes submitted with a request.

For programs registered directly with LASW, we or our registration provider may collect participant, emergency contact, accommodation, allergy, or medical information needed to administer the program. Please provide sensitive information only when it is relevant and requested.

Our website also receives technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referral information, and general interaction data through hosting logs and analytics tools.

Our multi-step forms save progress in your browser so you can continue later. Browser drafts expire after 14 days and can also be removed by clearing site data in your browser.

After an adult completes the contact step and selects Continue, we also save those contact details and completed answers on our servers. LASW may contact that person about the request even if the remaining form is not completed. Abandoned server-side inquiries are generally deleted after 30 days.

We use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate job applicants, arrange interviews, recommend and plan services, prepare proposals, administer registrations, communicate about confirmed programs, provide customer support, maintain security, prevent spam, troubleshoot our systems, improve the website, and comply with legal obligations.

Inquiry information is not automatically treated as consent to receive promotional email or automated marketing texts. If we offer optional marketing communications, we will provide the required choice and opt-out method.

We share information only as reasonably needed with providers that help us operate the website and respond to requests. These may include Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for secure inquiry storage, Pipedrive for customer relationship management, Resend for email delivery, Sawyer for registration, Calendly for interview scheduling, and Google for analytics, maps, and reviews.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect participants or other people, to investigate fraud or security concerns, or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell personal information for money.

We use Google Tag Manager to operate Google Analytics. These tools help us understand which pages and services are useful, where visitors came from, and whether important website actions work. Our intended configuration is analytics-only and does not use inquiry answers, names, email addresses, phone numbers, child information, or free-text notes as analytics event data.

Your browser may offer controls for cookies, site data, and Do Not Track signals. Because there is not a universally accepted response standard for Do Not Track, our website does not currently respond to those signals. You may disable analytics for a browser by visiting lasportsworld.com/analytics-opt-out, using browser controls, or using Google’s available opt-out tools.

This website and its inquiry forms are intended for parents, guardians, school or organization representatives, and other adults. Children should not submit personal information through the website. Adults may provide limited information about a child when needed to request or administer an LASW service.

If you believe a child submitted personal information directly, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

Completed inquiry and job-application records, including submitted resumes, are generally retained for up to 24 months. Registration, employment, contract, payment, incident, or customer records may be kept longer when needed for an active relationship, legal obligation, dispute, insurance matter, or legitimate business record. We may delete information sooner when it is no longer needed.

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information that LASW maintains about you, subject to legal and operational exceptions. You may also ask questions about our privacy practices by emailing us or writing to the mailing address below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
