David Ouaknine

My name is David Ouaknine, I am the founder and one of the trainers here at LASW. I have been working as a private sports coach for children ages 5 to 18 for 7 years. Coaching both one on one as well as group lessons of up to 10 kids. I specialize in a wide variety of sports including, basketball, football, soccer, baseball and volleyball.

I attended Yeshiva University of Los Angeles for 4 years and was a highly active student; playing for the basketball, soccer, and volleyball team. I went on to coach their high school soccer teams after graduation including 2 years with the YULA boys team, and 4 with the girls team. Both of which won 2 championships in league and 2nd place this year. I have worked with other establishments including Yavnah Elementry School where I coached after-school soccer and floor hockey to 5 and 6-year-olds. And others such as Camp Chesed where I gained experience in working with special needs children.

Tommy Cannon

Tommy, LA Sports World’s manager, has been playing sports since he was old enough to walk. He’s never let obstacles get in his way, whether they be physical conditions or literal hurdles on the race track.

Playing sports has always been an important part of Tommy’s life. At the age of 12 he played his first football game, knowing instantly that he had found his true love. He accredits the coach from that first football team as being his inspiration to coach youth. He believes in setting an example of sound values and hard work.

During the day Tommy works in advertising & film, but considers his work with kids to be the funnest part of his week. He coaches both individual students and groups of up to 10 kids as well as a range of sports including football, basketball, soccer, track, and baseball.
